Making the Road

February 5, 2016—Welcome to MAKING THE ROAD tours with Prexy Nesbitt. Making the Road is currently updating its communications, including this site, so please bear with us. Some pages may be out of date, and the most current information will be that shared on a new email list (see below).

Plans for two 2016 trips are currently underway—one to Cuba in mid-May, and the other to Southern Africa in June or July. Dates, itineraries, and cost information for the two trips will be available as soon as possible.

If you are interested in participating in either of these trips, might be interested in traveling on a Making the Road tour in the future, or would simply like to receive further information and periodic updates on the opportunities MAKING THE ROAD provides, please sign up here to receive updates by email when they are available.

MAKING THE ROAD is more than just travel, it is a project of forging new paths and new understandings through conversations that connect the Americas and Southern Africa, history to the present, and different generations to one another. Making the Road is the product of more than forty years of concrete solidarity and mutually beneficial relations. So dive into our website to explore the options (some pages are still being updated), and let us help you create new relationships and nourish old ones.
